This is dirty， disgusting， somewhat juvenile， gross， and one of the FUNNIEST Manga's I've ever read。 Actually， in comparison to most Ecchie （Might be spelling that wrong） manga， it is tame。 Where things like Prison School focuses on nearly naked girls and messy sexual encounters， this focuses on a guy joining a dive team （mostly against his will） while running into insane situations with his teammates making him drink and do outrageous shit。 Lori is the main character and he is too funny。 He jus This is dirty， disgusting， somewhat juvenile， gross， and one of the FUNNIEST Manga's I've ever read。 Actually， in comparison to most Ecchie （Might be spelling that wrong） manga， it is tame。 Where things like Prison School focuses on nearly naked girls and messy sexual encounters， this focuses on a guy joining a dive team （mostly against his will） while running into insane situations with his teammates making him drink and do outrageous shit。 Lori is the main character and he is too funny。 He just wants to live a normal life and try to get college and maybe even meet a girl。 However， his crazy-ass teammates force him into the craziest shit。 On his first day of college， he wakes up on campus with just underwear on and goes to school like this。 Obviously， funny shit keeps happening throughout including an over-the-top room makeover but it gets worse every time it is made over。 Listen。 I can't even really describe everything that happens in this manga because it is bonkers but I was laughing so much I think my wife wanted to kill me。 So there you go。 Go read it。 5 out of 5。 。。。more

I think It was really funny but It was kind of slow for me in the beginning， maybe because I didn't immediately click with the main character "Iori Kitahara"。 But a little closer to the end I started to get a feel for all of the main characters and I actually ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would at the beginning。 So I definitely want to pick up the second volume！ It's a very funny manga， if you want a good laugh and you have the sense of human for this kind of series I definitely I think It was really funny but It was kind of slow for me in the beginning， maybe because I didn't immediately click with the main character "Iori Kitahara"。 But a little closer to the end I started to get a feel for all of the main characters and I actually ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would at the beginning。 So I definitely want to pick up the second volume！ It's a very funny manga， if you want a good laugh and you have the sense of human for this kind of series I definitely recommend checking it out！ 。。。more

I read passed where I last watched the anime。 After finishing the manga， I want finish watching the anime。 I was laughing throughout reading the manga。 The ending left me wanting to read more。

I read this was a really funny series about university life。 But i didn’t laugh once， and it’s not about college life really。 It’s about a dive club， getting into ludicrous situations， and wanting to get off with cousins （is that socially acceptable in Japan！？）。 So for me this was questionable， unfunny， farce。 Won’t be trying volume 2。 Oh， and there’s incest too， the older sister is in love with the younger sister。 Odd。

I just wish the story can get more diving content， but from my friends told me and other reviews， the content still more focus on ecchi/romantic comedy themes， and have more drinking scenes than diving scenes。For plus side， the art for underwater views are gorgeous。 Maybe drawing the sea takes more effort so the creators saves their energy by focusing stories on college students slice-of-life rom-com theme。

A fun， lighthearted comedy。 The seaside college setting was a refreshing change from the typical Japanese high school setting that so many similar manga are plagued with。 Be warned there are numerous awkward situations and misunderstandings here， if those tropes frustrate you stay away from this one。

Grand Blue is considered one of the best comedy manga and it is highly regarded by most who have read/watched it。 First volume was okay， nothing special but the preface about a diving anime is intriguing and if you consider its popularity， it should get better as it continues。

Yo this was seriously a sausage fest。 So much drinking and nudity （blacked out of course）。 I found it to be funny even though I had to get used to the humor a bit。 I dunno if I will continue， but the ending set up the series to be more than just funny and it seems interesting。
